MarshaNichols asked, "I have heard that Lazy Daze is a good product. What are the feelings out there?"
I purchased my 07 used a little over a year ago. As mentioned already, get it inspected if buying used. I did not but will admit that I just got lucky. We love ours. It is a 26.5' mid bath, the newer model is 27'. The wife and I both are not climbers so we sleep in the back. Often times we leave the beds set up. The floor plan works well for us. I love how simple the RV is. Sometimes when I arrive late at camp I don't hook up at all until the next day. I will admit that the windows were a big selling feature. It is easy to drive, not to tall, and at 26.5' I have surprised that I could get out of some areas that I should not have been in (tight parking lots, narrow roads and the like). The down side with LD is that there is not as much underneath (basement) storage. I like the traditional paint, others do not. The newer LD, have a more common paint style but the older ones all look like the much older ones.
Lazy Daze does not generally attend RV shows. Local groups get to gather a couple times a year so people. From the LazyDaze forum I was directed to some nice folks in the NE group who were kind enough to show me their RV and talk to me about the advantages and disadvantages of the several floor plans. That happened at one such GTG. They are also a great place to discuss common problems. I'm sure other brands have similar groups. It might be an idea to meet with such folks no mater which brand you decide on.
Good luck on the hunt for an RV. Sorry to ramble on, hope this answers some of your questions.
