well the advice of 35% off a B van is just ridiculous and totally detached from reality. The vans don't sell for those kind of discounts period. Maybe if you could find a 2012 or 2013 model sitting around for some reason.
if you are mainly price driven, I'd suggest that you shop against the seasons. In places with snow on the ground, RV's are not selling quickly and you might find a left over 2014 model or just a dealer who is willing to move some units. Expect anywhere from 15 to 20% off MSRP on models that aren't the hot sellers.
B vans aren't like most other RV's, so you need to adjust your expectations. There really aren't any cheaply made units that carry huge discounts like trailers, A & C class RV's. Also, their production numbers are fairly low, so you don't see dealers with huge over-stocks.
Now something to think about is whether it may be worth it to shop for a dealer first and RV second. Finding a good dealer is key to having a good RV experience. It may be worth it to pay a bit more for something to have good service available and be treated like a valued customer. Sometimes the stars aligned and you get a good dealer, and a great price, but that is a hard thing to find.
Good luck!
