HELP!!!Travel light on touch control panel will not come on (blue). I had driven about 8 miles and it was fine. Stopped for an hour or so and when I started again, after about 3 miles, the coach started bucking. I then noticed the two front warning lights (red) were on. When I stopped and cut off engine it would not return to "Travel" (blue). Motorhome will level in my driveway but will not return to "Travel" mode. Manual says, "DO NOT DRIVE". Any ideas?Thanks,Happytracks

You may have weak springs and your jacks are not fully retracting.

I assume from your other posts you have a 1998 coach, so I'd suspect one or more of your relays are wearing out. I've replaced all of mine several years ago on a 20 year old coach. I hope yours are as easy to find and replace. They do things like making your jacks inoperative when the emergency brake is not on or the transmission isn't in natural, or allow the windshield wipers to work when the engine is running. Since they are cheap and easy to replace (normally), I'd suggest replacing the main relays that look like small beer cans with copper posts sticking out. The other smaller relays are probably in or near your main electrical bay.

There is NOTHING in an HWH system that will affect Engine/Trans driveability. Yes, your travel light did not come on, but your Engine problem is NOT caused by the HWH system. Doug

Check the fuse for the travel solenoids. A blown fuse indicates ashorted wire or solenoid valve. Unplug one air harness at a time todetermine which wire or manifold is shorted. Then unplug the travelsolenoid to determine a bad wire or valve.If the fuse is not blown, check the corresponding pins in the controlbox for the travel solenoids. If +12 power is not present, replace thecontrol box. If power is present check for power at the manifolds.Then replace the solenoid valve for any bag that will not reinflate.Note: A bad height control valve can cause a ride height problem.If replacing a travel solenoid valve does not fix the problem, checkfor correct operation of the height control valve. e. With the "ON"indicator light lit, theTRAVEL light willnot go out.The travel light should not be on when the system is on. Replacethe control box.I am assuming you have NO hyd Jacks cylinders, just Air leveling since you state you have the 500 system. Doug

thanks to "DOUG" AND DONS2346: I found the control panel right where "dons2346" said it would be. I,ve checked the fuse and voltage to the travel pin. it,s good. now it says "check for power at the manifolds." replace solenoid valves etc. NOW I need to know where the manifold is located.
