The way I read the manual it should be set up for type 10. Read page C-4 in the manual, it shows the timing diagram (the actual diagram is on page C-5 but it's labeled Figure C-4.
The Onan wiring is explained on page B-3 and B-4.
I think you're wiring may be correct but the AGS is programmed for the wrong type.
