Keep it on so that the refer temperatures remains safe. The temperature can become unsafe allowing bacteria to contaminate the food. And it can quickly rise especially in hot summer temperatures.
Use the inverter and run on AC? Best for a MH designed to keep the batteries charged. It appears that some/lots of trailers do not have adequate charging from the alternator located in the front of the TV to maintain a battery being discharged by an inverter. And it should be clear that a charged trailer battery should be maintained to operate the brakes.
