I bought a low mileage older coach that was stored in a heated garage so I will tell you what I learnt. First, since it's in a covered garage any leaks will go unnoticed. The first time you take it out and it rains you may be in for a surprise. Second, electrical connections will have corrosion on them. Everything worked on our rig when we pulled it out of the garage. Within two months the pickup coil in the distributor went (gas), brake calipers froze up, GFI popped every time it rain, furnace stopped working, hot water heater stopped working, would not start due to battery terminal corrosion, steps stopped working, etc....
As bad as all of that sounded, 95% of the issues were corrosion caused. All I had to do was clean up connections or lubricate moving parts. Really put me on the fast lane in learning the RV. Now if I had to pay someone to fix all of that stuff.....
