I called Kevin and he is going to inspect it this weekend. He seemed like a really great person and I appreciate y'alls reference...
The purchase price we negotiated is $39,500.00. It was listed on Ebay for $45,000.00. I didn’t realize he had it locally for $40,000.00. I still think $39.5k is a good deal. Your thoughts?
Per the owner, it will need 4 new tires, 2 engine batteries and serviced (peace of mind).
With those items plus the cost of fuel, flight and food, it's going to cost me right at $3,500.00 to get it home. Most of that cost is something I would have to do even if it was for sale local.
Is this still a good deal or should I keep looking? I've researched these coaches and know they are very well made and drive exceptionally well. Plus most of the units I've looked at locally that are at that price point are pretty ragged and would need $5k-$10k just to make them decent.
Again, your advice, constructive criticism is much appreciated!
