I bought and paid for a used 5th wheel without seeing it. My wife was very upset with me. She said "you're an idiot. What if it turns out to be a piece of junk?" I said "then I guess we get what I paid for."
So I would adjust my offer to allow for some major repairs. If they accept and it shows up in great shape you're laughing.... If it's rough you're getting what you paid for.
