Just a very bad idea! Either go see it or have it imdepently inspected. Either way you’ll be out a few well spent bucks.
X2 I bought two Class A rigs, one was 700 miles and the other 1200 miles from home. That said, since we needed a very spcific layout to accomodate a disabled family member, we looked at thousands online and literally hundreds in person, during a ten day trip to all the big dealers in FL.
The big takeaway is that the average dealer may, or may not, clean a unit inside and out, but very few will do a detailed inspection, and dump a ton of hours and money, into correcting the dozens of issues (most minor, some unbeleivable huge!) that 99% of all used rigs have. A sales lizard will tell you that any rig is great, if they can get you to pay for it, have it delivered, and deal with all the issues from a distance. Doing a high volume, in person search, for a used class A is a truely eye opening experience. In most cases, a significant minority of a dealers inventory is really sketchy stuff, with body damage, delamination, slides that are really screwed up (very common) or excess wear that is easily hidden in an online ad.
