We change our insurance to storage if we are going to be off the road for more than a month. This can be done even when we are parked at a RV park. This puts fire and theft on the MH only. This lowers insurance cost to about 10% of cost of full coverage. Ends up saving about $500 a year. Not all insurance policy's allow this. Best to check with your agent.
