USAA website lets you update/change your insurance status on demand. One could technically put it into "non-use" on Sunday night after arriving at home, and back into use again on Thursday for a Friday departure. I suspect in the long run it wouldn't save much, if any, money for that frequent a change. If you parked it for 3-4 months over winter, it might?
I was told by a different company/different agent years ago that my homeowner's policy covered my RV (Class C at that time) when parked at my house during non-use times.
