Toured the NU Wa plant in Chanute ,Ks in 2013. Bought the top of the line "Champayne" model.
Liked the tour but the fiver was less than perfect. Both motors on the bed room slide, motor on the awning, and the thermostat on the AC/Furnace all within 6'mos. Then thee was the issue of the leveling jacks. Could not read the monitor / control panel (LED) unles it was dark.had to take back to Chanute for all warranty repairs. Have the Winnebago now ( see. Sig.) not perfect by no means. Have 30,000 Mi on it. 10,000 this year. Last trip had on problems.didn't even get the gorilla glue or the drill out . 4000 Mi. To DC AND BACK. Course does a rock in the front windshield count. Ins. Replaced . Nothing out of my pocket. Done. Hate to say any thing , wait till next trip??? Learning curve!!!
