OK, I "was" shopping for a new MH but I will just keep my money in the bank and look for a hobby that cares about it's customers and tries to build a quality product. I have been on this site for 2 months and have read so much "negativity" about manufact. and dealers it will scare anyone away. Most of the negatives come from veteran RVers. People you look to for advice. Thanks for the warning.
Hi Mooney and welcome to the forum. Anyone who is intelligent enough to afford a motor home must also know internet forums are chocked full of opinions. Also many new motor homes ARE rolling junk and some are not even fit for their intended purpose. I am referring to being over weight on axles and slides that are failing on brand new units. New members as well as senior members need to do diligence beyond any forum to decide if RVing if for them.
I am not quite as "naïve" as the post suggested. I have owned a few MH in the past 10 yrs. and know how to look for defects. I was hoping using my "innocent" demeanor would make some here realize how negative they promote the hobby. You can find posts like, they are all "junk", referring to all "Dealers" as thief's, and Salesman "if their mouths moving they are lying". Do you not feel it casts the RV community in a light most "newbees" would say, why waste my time and money trying to do this. Especially when the negative posts come from "veteran" RVer's". Seems they have no pride in their hobby and try to encourage new upstarts to seek other hobbies. JMHO
