They didn't mention anything about the engine and tranny. Probably bc they're still covered under warranty for 2 more years.
When we went to go look at the RV I didn't get up on the roof. The RV is 7 hours from me. He was nice enough to meet us half way. I did climb all around in it and saw no evidence of any leakages anywhere. The RV was stored outside. The owner(actually his son I'm dealing with) has had it maintained at the dealer yearly and I did see records for that. His son was the one who resealed the roof every year since his dad has had it. His son also has an RV as well. Maybe the son goofed it all up and the dealer wants to strip it all and redo it. Who knows. I will most certainly call the dealer tomorrow.
I know I can get the Trojan batteries much cheaper than what they're quoting.
To answer some questions…. the AC does blow cold as the Antarctic. Didn't test out the heater. I did drive it and inspected the tires. After only 20K miles, I can't imagine the tires being that bad. Plenty of tread left on them.
They never said the items were bad y'all. They "advised" that they should be serviced.
And to Effy…. I don't need some smart a$$ comment about buying ocean front property in Az. If you're gonna be a smart a$$ then GTFO out of my thread. I came on the forums b/c I heard RV people are good people. I got some sound advice on this forum in my previous thread. Don't need someone being a smart ass.
