Here's a copy of the owners son's email…….
I just spoke to the guys at RV World of GA and they are recommending the following:
Roof Clean/Treat and Reseal
A/C service for both units
Furnace Service for both furnaces
Coach and House Battery replacement
Warranty repair of the passenger side camera
The main concern with the roof is that it was dirty and showed some cracking in the caulk.
The Batteries are just over three years old so I don't know that they need replacement but I do imagine they will need to be replaced, like any other battery, within the next two to three years.
The A/C and furnace services are normal maintenance items that are being called out based on age of the motorhome. They involve cleaning of the coils on the A/C and the fans and airways on the furnaces.
The biggest expenses on the list are the batteries at a retail cost of $1017 and the roof clean/reseal/treat at $499 which also includes an exterior wash of the coach. The a/c service was quoted at $257 and the furnace service was quoted at $128.50.
The total to do everything they recommend is $2101.50.
Given that I really don't think the batteries are end of life and the roof can be caulked for much cheaper the best I can do is either offer to split the cost or drop the sales price to $ and sell it as-is. Let me know your thoughts on this.
