question? can you get shocked from 12volt?
kids tote trailer has 12volt electric jack ,and last week in the rain, they say they got shocked when some body touched the trailer. I know nothing about electric things.

I'd guess it's 120V related. Plug the trailer into a GFCI to help determine if you have a ground fault. Ground faults are often water related - sinks, outside plugs, HW, refer, etc.
