Sales tax in Denver of what 7.75% or so owners tax is based on msrp not purchase price times 85% times I think it is 2.3% and is graduated down by age. Add another $200 for various other fees
So 5800ish in sales tax and another 1400ish in owners tax (assuming new but if not could
Be as Low As$3 depending on age) and age another $200 for other various fees so somewhere in the $7k range. Dealer will collect the sales tax but owner tax will be due when you go get your plates. If the unit is used I think the years of graduating it down in cost are based on from when new not when you bought it.
