If you are referring to my post I never implied that the engine mileage would change. However, miles driven divided by fuel used is going to give you a reading that equals MPG. If you don't use the generator you will get one number. If you do use the generator you will get another lower number. The difference between these 2 numbers will tell you how much additional fuel was used by the generator.
