Have your questions been answered? Just curious, we've not heard back from you. Letting us know would be helpful as in the future we know you're actually interested in how people respond to your thread.
We have checked the Onan site & found nothing yet, but we will be looking for more later.
The replies have been sort of all over the board but that should be what anyone should expect from a board posted question.
At this point we will be looking for 1/2 gallon to 1 gallon per hour gas consumption when running only one a/c unit.
And we will be unhooking the 30 amp shore power plug in before we start the generator.
We'd like further input from people with first hand experience.
Thanks !!
First hand experience...you will be fine running one A/C unit plugged into 30 amp service unless your coach is poorly insulated.
We just returned from a very hot and humid Emerald Isle N.C. Although we were at a 50 amp site..only needed to run one A/C at a time (and these are 16 year old units vs your new 2014 units).
Your 32 footer should stay nice and cool running one unit at a time.
No need to run your generator....your neighbors would be mighty unhappy if you did!
Welcome to Florida!
