Questions on door and ride

Question

Just got back from a long drive to West Texas and the entry door seemed extra noisy.  It has always been that way since we bought it used.  I have added weather striping and it helped some.  Has anyone had their door replaced?  Do air bags help with the ride, seems a little rougher as I'm getting older?

Put some thick (1/4") stripping between the screen door and the real door if you haven't already. I found that most of the noise in my coach was from the two door rattling against each other. That smooths the ride out!

There may also be some adjustment in either the latch or the striker.

If we don't shut ours solidly it can rattle while underway.  I think, as mentioned, it is the screen rattling between frame and door.

Well, are we talking about wind noise or rattling? For me, it's loud wind noise that I have yet to alleviate. (Maybe my standards are too high.)

Mostly the wind noise.  I can fix the rattling which just started this last trip.  I have to take it to a dealer next week to get an estimate from a blow out and will price a new door at the same time.
