Questions re 1989? Rockwood A Class

Hi Folks,
Looking at what I think is an '89 Driftwood by Rockwood, has a 5.9 turbo diesel with Allison auto (4 or 5 speed?)...can't find a vin# on it, anyone have any suggestions where to look?
