Rain on slide toppers
When we are parked and it happens to rain, the slide toppers collect water and when putting the slides in the next day we get some overflow into the coach...just enought to get dw mad/upset... what d...

Have that problem as well, in fact it cost me a slide topper and $$$ as I had to get a mobile RV repair to come to the rescue. Since it has finally been rectified...I made me a "tool" to use to brush the water off the toppers after a rain, no matter torrential or not. I constructed it out of a pole (3/4 inch conduit or PVC would work) made an elbow at the top-6-8 inch 'arm', another elbow with 1-2 inch 'down arm' to which I connected a broom head. Works wonders..sure I turn heads when I use it, but also I have been asked if the neighbor or the 'lookers' could use as well. It stores all in one of my pass thru compartments.
