I was told that the AC will run,, but eventually you will have a meltdown on your cord, plug or worse (?) Check your plug and/or adapter for cracking or any other sign of excessive heat.
Here is how I learned about this ; I plugged in my coach (110v) to cool the fridge and get ready for the weekend. When I went to check on it 3 hrs later, my AC was running (left the thermo switch on). Luckily I didn't have any meltdowns
