I had a 2000 Newmar Mountainaire 39.5 ft. It is in fact a lot of motorhome for the V-10. I will say this....it will handle just fine on flat lands, but Monarch Pass was a bugger of a ride...not to mention the heat and noise from the engine being front mounted. It is a good coach though. I now own a 2001 Newmar Mountainaire 41 ft. with a Cat. diesel. I wish you the very best with whatever your decision might be.
