Thanks for the initial replies. We have already done a lot of driving and searching, which is why we came here to see if maybe there is something we are missing.
Our ideal unit -
25-30 feet, FOUR captain chairs facing front, sleeping for 4+, modern design (especially interior), high quality, $150k budget. Ok if it is A, B, or C, as long as it meets these specifications and drives firmly connected to the road. The Cs that we have driven were sloppy (both ford and MB chassis) and the large As are just more room than we need and my wife is intimidated driving over 30 feet.
To answer the question about space, we have found 25-30 feet to be plenty for us because we are mainly roadtripping to a destination in it vs. using as a dedicated long-term camping RV. I only mentioned 20-30 feet range because there are a couple smaller As and the MB sprinter Bs that are in the 23-24 foot range.
I guess we are trying to find a cross between an A RV and a roadtripping B RV, and haven't found the sweet spot. We haven't been to PPL, so that's great advice, will go there.
