I had a bay door painted because I was a dumb $#% and raised the door too high and then proceeded to extend the slide. As I was extending the slide I heard a scratching sound and in my infinite wisdom I thought, well maybe it needs to go in and out a few times. Well the sound did not go away! I laughed pretty hard at this one...until I remembered trying to remove one of those doors one time by driving it sideways along the length of its hinge..right past the entry door cutting a nice groove through the paint and beyond. Unfortunately for me I couldn't hear the scratching that you mentioned because the scratching sound was conveniently masked by the blows from the 5 pound mallet. talk about being a dumb $#%!
