Reading the RV Vin. #

Hi everyone, It's been a long time since I was on this forum as I sold my Dodge. Now I'm looking at buying another one and need some help reading the vin. # so I can tell what I'm looking at. The VIN. that I have is: F44CD6VO90898. Can anyone help please, Thanks , Jerry
  • I did not find a record of that number. Not much anyone can do to help without the correct VIN number.

I believe the VIN should be 17 digits, unless there's something to do with the age of the unit.
  • The chassis vin# should be in drivers side windshield and on door plate.
You might be looking at the coach builders SR#.
  • I have a 1986 Chevy Van owners manual that has a VIN identification section. However I don't know how to attach a scan to this message. Looking at your numbers I can not make out what it is. It should be 17 numbers and letters the last 6 is the production sequence number. N is engine type and make. D is gvwr/brake system. F is assembly plant. C is Line and Chassis type. Hope this helps a little.
