When I first installed mine on the new car, I had it about as tight as yours appears to be. I had a guy cut me off and braked hard to avoid a collision. Upon inspection of the cable, I found it had snapped off near the front of the vehicle. Easy repair with some crush clamps but now I've increased the length a bit. I wish they had a better way to determine the length of that cable. After install I had a friend wait in a parking lot while I braked to watch it in action. Thanks for posting. I was unsure on how tight the cable should be as well. Mine is also about as tight as the video shows. Maybe I'll loosen it a bit.
