Model numbers are close to, but not actually indicative of the exact length. My Itasca 32V is also 33 feet long.
When searching for my motorhome, I also looked at the Southwind 32V. Main reasons I chose the Itasca was fiberglass roof instead of rubber, I wanted Chevy 8.1L because doghouse is much lower to ground and easier to walk over to get to front seats, I didn't feel as crowded in the driver's seat.
Used to own an older 28' Fleetwood Flair, which was a mighty fine motorhome too.
I love love love the 32V floorplan. Can't imagine ever needing anything else. I looked at many floorplans when I was shopping. Always came back to that 32V!
