$1500 just doesn't cut it for me, though. A run through to make sure everything works, even if it takes 2 days, certainly doesn't cost anywhere near $1500. No reason for a number that high, IMO.
On Cars PDI is paid by the manuf directly to the dealer you should never see a charge that was outlawed in the 70's
