Does seem excessive, but as stated above, the out the door price is what I'm primarily concerned about. MSRP pricing is mostly a made up number and varies from dealer to dealer, if it bothers you to pay $1500 for a PDI I'm sure the dealer can easily rework the numbers so that you think you are not paying for it. They do it all the time and it works at making customers think they got some kind of concession from the dealer. The only thing that is for certain when purchasing an RV, is the dealer made their profit margin and then some. If you feel you got a great deal paying their final negotiated price, the salesperson accomplished exactly what they are trained to do.
