Rear leaf springs

Does this look right. This is the only RV I've crawled under so I have no frame of reference.

Starting from the back there is a slight downward curve that is really exaggerated towards the front. I'm used to springs curving up at both ends like on by PU Truck. These look like they've completely collapsed.

Hope I'm wrong,

    I put a set of firestone air bags on the back of my old 2000 Tioga 22C on a E350 chassis to level the ride height. My sprigs looked the same as yours. My newer 2006 Tioga 24D on a GM chassis sits more level and the springs have a more normal arch on the GM chassis.

    I am "Very" impressed with the lack of corrosion on that 1999. Most rigs are a total wreck by that age, sitting outside exposed to the elements. I suppose that's the benefit to Sedona AZ. If anything is wrong with it, just fix it and keep going.

    Fully loaded with gas, water, propane and stuff, I'm about 3.5-4 inches off the stops and it might sit a tad low in back. It doesn't look like I've ever contacted the stops with the axle, so I'm guess I good to go.

    Thanks folks. Yes it's an E350. I'm really happy to know that that downward re-curve is normal. I didn't want to hear about buying new springs.

    If it is a E-series, that is the normal position for the springs.

    Late model (meaning 1992 and up) E-Series have that inverted arch. The older ones had the classic look.

    I've just bought a 2010 Winnebago with 8,000 miles and it's springs look similar. I don't think it's a problem. However, I'm going to get a set of Firestone air bags added to the rear suspension. Just go by a dealer and look at a new one for more assurance.

    I have a 1997MH and a 2014MH,on an E350 and E450, both of which look like that.
