Good Afternoon!
PghBobo - I definitely agree that the OCCC is a variable to consider on the MBS chassis. I am not quite sure how the Renegade Villagio compares to other similar models (LTV Unity, Skinnie Winnies, etc.). By the time I make the plunge, the two daughters will be flying from the nest. One is a sopohmore in college. The other a junior in high school. I would like to have the capacity to do short trips with them or my brother and his DW, but the vast majority of our traveling will be the DW and myself. However, I think your point is still a valid one. Be mindful of the OCCC whether it is a rig on the MBS chassis or a 31 ft Lazy Daze on the Ford 450 chassis.
Desert Captain - Yup, given my preference for a permanent bed (twins/island queen), the galley and living areas get robbed, particuarly on 25 ft. rigs. I do most of the cooking, so the galley size is more of an issue for me than my DW! ;) I also share your concern about the size of the corner bed. So many compromises!
Thanks for your expertise and wisdom!
