We found that the doors on our Norcold are not stiff enough to fully seat the gasket on the corner opposite the latches. That would be at the top of the freezer door and bottom of fridge door. So we now use two gestures when closing the fridge: Reach up and smack the top corner of the freezer door; Knee the bottom corner of the fridge door.
Also on Norcold - Cooling shuts off about every 36 hours in an attempt to defrost. Shutting the fridge OFF for 10 seconds or so re-sets that 36-hour interval. I do that daily at noon, so it never gets to "defrost." We can go two weeks of beachfront camping before the frost gets heavy.
