What are the brakes doing? Pulsing, surging, squeaking, not working at all? Call orangewood RV in surprise, AZ. Talk to Jim, at the parts counter. He knows his stuff, and will answer any question you have. They can also look at your brakes or anything else problematic. I have had very good luck there. If they aren't close to you, they can at least point you in the right direction as to where to take it.
The person that I bought the RV from said he was bothered by the brakes too. He said he took it to Orangewood a while back ( don't know how long ago) and they told him there wasn't a problem with them.
When the RV is not running. The brakes only push down a little bit. When I try to drive the RV, I have to push so hard on the brake pedal that my leg shakes to stop it! I think the brake pedal might go down to the floor about 7 inches or so. ( just a guess on distance) But, it's a long way.I am scooching forward in the seat to push it down. I feel like I am never really stopped completely. I am terrified that I will hit a car in front on me, if I don't leave a quarter mile between me and them!
I called Orangewood a while back about another issue, and they were nice. But, WAY too expensive. Maybe I can call there and ask for info as to where to take it for service. Or, see if they will give me a free estimate. Other than that I have to find the least expensive route to go. I have a lot of $ invested in this thing.
It's draining me. Me and my girls really need this RV to live in until we are able to find another home in another state. We have to move soon and the cash is running low.:(
