I wanted the old tube TV out of my Dash on my 1999 Coachmen. So I decided to remove the whole dash, build a new dash without a TV in it, Then build a new over head cabinet to mount a 32" HDTV Flat screen in it.While I was at it I replaced the carpeting and built side panels (door panels) in the cab area.Here's what It looks like so far:Old dash area:

New Dash and side panels. Installed new round shaped A/C vents, then added new carpeting while I was in there.

Custom built a over head cabinet and installed a 32 HDTV in it.

Looks like yo did a great job. Can't tell is was ever in the dash. BTW, who thought that was a good idea anyway.

Looks great.
I changed out my 80lb tube during our last trip (Thanksgiving) with a 32" LCD & love it. I just quickly mounted the TV over the outside of the original case, but it worked pretty good until I customize the wood casing.

1/2" plywood and 1" x 1"s. Covered it with 1/4" foam and tan marine grade vinyl to match the side panels. I'll be added some Oak trim to the top of the side panels tomorrow.

Bought some new front seats too. Found them on ebay for $600
