Be very cautious of using the eraser wheel on painted surfaces that have not been baked! I would NOT recommend using it. I tried it on my decals which were over paint that was not baked. No matter how lightly I pressed or how slow I ran the wheel, it damaged the paint.
My decal removal process is still a work in progress. I tried, Goof off, WD-40, DeSolv-it, adhesive remover made by Permatex, lighter fluid and tiki torch fluid. The vinyl of each decal came off very easily, but the adhesive remained. My best luck was with fresh gas and a non-scratching scrubbie pad. I would work a small area and had a bucket of soap and water to wash the surface to remove the gas. I kept doing this in small areas till I was done with a particular decal.
