removing old TV in Tiffin Allegro Motorhome

My DIY tv install looks almost exactly the same as Ivy's. Great install.

On my parents old Allegro (a 2005) the TV was only held in by a piece of plywood wedged in up top - apparently friction was supposed to hold it in. It didn't, as it literally fell out on one trip to Lancaster, Pa.

Yours may be the same.

Here is my DIY install.LED TVs are so thin you can mount on the face of the cabinet, not inside.

On the Tiffin Owner's website many answers to questions like this can be found with a simple search. On our 2006 Phaeton the TV trim frame is attached with about 4" long #2 square head screws through the face frame of the adjoining cabinets, 3 per side. Once those are removed the face frame had perpendicular inner members that could be slowly be worked out side to side using a flat pry bar.
