Rental as long term strategy?

Also with renting you can decide to take the RV money and spend it to go on a cruise, Amtrak vacation, Hawaii, London etc. Could easily do the big RV trip every other year.
We have enjoyed ownership as the trailer is outfitted with our stuff ready to go at a moments notice. At times we have gone frequently without the hassle of getting the right RV booked and reserved to match our destination reservations. Lately we have been out less frequently or taking these other vacations.... so if we did not already own something at this point we would also be looking to rent.
And of course if you can find a gently used 10+ year old Class-C you could tip the scales to ownership depending on frequency of use.
