Repair concerns with so few Monaco dealers

Actually, what is on a Monaco that any good repair shop could not repair. Just the replaceable body panels ?

I wouldn't worry about it even a little.

Sure they bolt the chassis together, but everything on it still comes from another supplier.

As Understood it, they made the Road Ranger chassis in house, But no big deal, you hit it hard enough to bend it the insurance will total the coach, when it can't be straightened.

We have the Roadmaster RR8R chassis. It's pretty much the same as any other chassis. Since there is no warranty concern anyway it can be repaired anywhere. All those dealers who sold Monaco/Holiday Rambler are all still around and can easily repair things as needed. And if your so inclined like I am I just fix things myself. It's easier and cheaper in the long run IMHO.

As you can see in my signature I have Monaco much older. It s not a problem to get serviced. Axles are Eaton, brakes are Meritor, shocks are Bilstien and etc. if you break weld or bend the chassis steel then, as mentioned it welded, straightened or totaled.

I take ours to a Cummins Quality Coach Care facility just a couple of hours away for most of my service work. They have Monaco listed as one of the coaches they deal with on an ongoing basis.

I am very satisfied with the cost and quality of work they do.

Methinks, actually Meknows, you're worried about something that doesn't exist. Monaco, owned by Allied Specialties, now REVGroup, same as Fleetwood, has repair shops coast to coast....Dennis

Monaco's customer service has been very good through all three owners so getting help is still available... 877-466-6226 After the first bankruptcy a group or Monaco MH owners started a Yahoo group " Monacoers " which now has a very good list of suppliers of many of the items used my Monaco in their MH's. Many post on there when they have a problem.

You have nothing to worry about....REV group who now owns Monaco has full records, you can get supplier parts and I've never had an issue thank God....

Our '05 HR Endeavor hasn't had many problems but i have been able to fix all the little things that go bad every time we use the coach. All the systems, AC, heat, refrig, awnings, axles, brakes, blinds, hot water tank, valves, faucets, vitually everything other than body parts are made by vendors and replacement parts are readily available from them. Doesn't matter they are used on a pre-banruptcy coach. Most other things are available from recycling yards.
