I was wondering if anyone knows what the difference is between the Airxcel 48203C966 and the Airxcel 48203A876 in terms of cooling ability and noise (both are Coleman Mach 3 plus). Is one better than the other in this area? Also in terms of compressor quality between the two units, is one better than the other?
bsinmich posted about Elkhart last year - can anyone recommend an RV place in or near there where we could pick up either of these units for around 450 bucks? It would be worth the drive we live only around 3 hours from there and could camp in Amish country!
Update on the repair - well after talking to the repair guy he said if the freon line is punctured it could cost including parts anywhere from 350 to 400 bucks to fix, so I guess it's a new one. To me for an extra 150 bucks we can get a brand new unit with a 2 year warranty compared to a repaired 400 dollar 11 year old unit it's pretty much a no brainer there.
