Currently having some issues with our Norcold. It is a factory refurbished unit supplied by Norcold in May 2007 under a warranty covered issue. It was subject to the Norcold recall and the temp sensor was installed. Having cooling issues with it this week and may be forced to repair or replace. IF it is the cooling unit, and it needs replaced, I'm wondering if I should bite the bullet and get a new similar unit that operates off electric and propane. We have enjoyed the propane since we like to boondock. I'm not sure I would have good luck with a residential type replacement as I only have a 2000 Watt inverter and four house batteries. Looks like I would run the batteries down quick when boondocking. Anyone dealt with this question before ? Decision ? Cost ? Happy ? Thanks.,
here is what I plan for the next life of my 1210 Norcold if ever needed
