Mine comes right off.....just replaced it in March. Mine has one band around the air filter lid. Snap that open and the lid lifts up to expose the filter.
Mine has 3 clips. Just got a return call from Camping World. The service tech was very familiar with this. He said to unclip, raise lid the 1/4 inch, push lid back (this releases the rear) and raisE up. I'll let everyone know if this works when I get back to the MH.
