Replacing microwave/convection oven
The over the counter microwave in our 1999 DSDP is kaput. At 15 years old, I guess it's due. Can anyone give me an idea how to remove it while minimizing the damage to the cabinetry? Thanks! Bob

I replaced my Sharp R-1850A Convection with a Sharp R-18800LS
I determined that they used the same mounting bracket, hence would attach to my existing mounting plate. I used the following web site https://partstore.com/SearchResults.aspx?q=r1850&SearchTerm=True and noted that they both used the same unit mounting bracket part # FANGTB003MRY0 . if you go to the site click on the "unit mounting bracket" then click on "compatible models"
We're replacing a GE Profile JVM 1490 SD oo3 1.5
Two issues ... the first being the long bolts in the front corners running up thru the top into the ceiling (no upper cabinets) .. and having a door hinge that keeps the door flush with the unit when the door opens. we have a cabinet along side the unit
