Replacing shower door in 28' class C

Measured opening at 30" wide and 65" tall. Want plain accordion-style door but most on net show 30" to 40" wide (no problem) however the height is either 57" (too short) or 67" (too tall). Guess I should order taller unit and cut to fit? Any other options out there? Thanks!

  • Stripit: Have been emailing and calling the Newline folks in Culpepper, VA and cannot get an answer or reply? Do you have a contact for the person that helped you order your door?

I just purchased and will be installing today a shower roller screen from these folks Newline
so will post how it goes later. We had them make one to the size I wanted and other than taking almost 3 weeks to build it looks perfect.

Well the install is done and it looks and works GREAT! Very impressed with the unit and its function. Now we have full access to the shower with only about 2.5 inches being taken up by the roller unit. Can't wait to give it a try with water running, right now waiting for the caulking to dry.
  • on our previous RV I special ordered the correct size thru PPL motorhomes parts dept. Dick

I changed my narrow shower door to a shower curtain. Had to take out more than the door. Alot of work making modifications, adding overhead track while still keeping it sanitary as far as looks. Well worth the work. Much better now.

I did the same. We had three sliding glass panels with a track above and below. We had it replaced under warranty because the door would bind. I think they installed it out of level. The replacement lasted about 3 years and then started doing the same thing. I removed both tracks and put a curtain rod up in its place. Much better now.
