A pure sine wave inverter is not required to operate a Samsung residential refer according to there website frequently asked questions. They claim the refer rectifies the incoming 120 AC to DC voltage negating the need for a pure sine power supply. Found this out after spending $800 on a Magnum PSW. Hope this helps. I installed a Samsung 24.5 cu ft counter depth in place of a 1200 LRIM. PM me if you have any questions.
