- sailor_louExplorerI cut a piece of 3/8" plywood into an E shape. I simply rotate it 90 deg such that the three legs are facing down and slide it between the two upper (refrigerator) handles, which keeps them in place. The legs are long enough to extend down in front of the freezer door so it stays closed also. I covered it with carpet to prevent scratching the SS finish. It is easy to install/remove and doesn't require any mods to the fridge. Unfortunately, my rig is in storage up in our garage in NH so I can't get a pic right now.

05 Travel Supreme Envoy - JFCExplorerWe use use a section of velcro around the handles for the frig. For the freezer, we have some elastic attached to the cabinet on each side of the frig. Elastic has velcro on the ends. Just pull and connect. Frig in for three years now and no problems so far.
- bluwtr49Explorer IIWhen we were installing our Samsung I asked the same questions. I didn't like the idea of using something to stick through the door handles so I called the Beaver dealer in bend and asked Parts what they used on the new coaches...They are a dealer For Entegra.
I found out they use this product:
Fridge lock
But with a modified plate that is bent to help fill the gap between the freezer drawer and one of the fridge doors. Takes two for this approach.
Alternatively the plate as supplied can be used to secure the two fridge door only which is the route I'm taking. I don't think the freezer drawer is at risk of self-opening but if I'm wrong I can always go back later an change it. For mounting I'm using the double sided foam mounting tape and I'll see how that works.
I would also suggest going to a couple of nearby dealers and look at the new coaches to see what they use on their products. - dmck413ExplorerI use baby cabinet latches from Walmart. Stick on ,work great.
- dons2346ExplorerPiece of plywood and some felt. Really cheap to do.
- crassterExplorer IIGet some rare earth magnets and space it well with washers (glued together). They'll keep it shut.
- MrWizardModeratorWe use baby cabinet safety locks
What you use, depends on your doors and any handles
Over under or side by side
Ours is over under, an no external handles, just niches you grab
There is a thread here someplace, with lots of pictures
We use a strap type snap lock, this folds around from the side to the front of the doors so they can't come open - GoldencrazyExplorerMine came with a toggle to hold the freezer shut and latches on the top ot the fridge doors. Screws were too short when doors were full and easily pulled the latches out. I then wrapped the doors in velcrow which has worked great.
- Blaster_ManExplorerWe use stretchy rubber or long pieces of velcro, lots of locks don't work with the bottom freezer. A long bungee will work (not the super strong black ones), just use caution not to scratch the door with the ends.

I use the Lamp lock linked to above as well. It might not work well for a French Door fridge but it's the bees knees for 2 door units.
