I changed our cooling unit myself. It's an easy job and the fridge doesn't need to come out of the MH. Due to some space limitations the only part I needed help with was the removal and reinstall.
I looked at converting it to a residential unit and came to the conclusion that for how we use ours sticking with propane just made more sense - plus it was cheaper and easier. :B
