You can usually get the OLD out and the NEW in thru a large side window. But, there are quite a few Motorhomes that the side window when removed is still not TALL enough to get a refer cabinet in and out. You ALWAYS remove the doors on both the Norcold AND the Residential to go in and out. Failure to do that will result in damaged doors. Now, as to the windshield, YES, on some models you gave to go thru the Windshield. If you do not believe the Service Center, DO IT YOURSELF. You will find due to the way the front entry door is mounted and depending on the curve of the upper part of the door and also the design of the dash and Pass seat area, you cannot safely without damaging something get the residential cabinet in with the doors removed. You can usually get the old Norcold OUT with the doors removed. Removing a standard Diesel front entry door and frame is NOT the way to go if you plan on reinstalling the same door. Odds are it will never fit correctly and operate correctly. Better to pull the windshield and YES, nobody will guarantee that the windshield will not break when removing. Doug
