Reupholster couch or replace?

2002 couch is now splitting in several places on seating area. Are there places that sell new couches and/or upholster these RV couches? Couch is comfortable but if a newer one may be a better upgrade might be willing to spend the extra $$ for an upgrade. If anyone has done either, your opinion please. Thanks!

    A good upholstery shop should be able to make it just like new. If they can't find another shop.

    I find that a great many upholster shops are over-booked so you may have a long wait. You may want to search for a replacement.

    Check the price of both recovering yours and buying a new one.
    Upholster's are often so expensive that it may be cheaper just to buy new.
